There was a phrase my mother used all of the time growing up, and that' "good enough for government work." At the time, I didn't understand all of the implications of this statement, and some of it, I will leave you to unpack on your own.
What I did get, is that good enough is a space where things can stop. There's no such thing as perfection. As an artist, I could detail out paintings for days or weeks and still see things I want to change, but there's so much art in me, that if I do that, I end up with TONS of unfinished pieces. At some point, you absolutely have to step back, stop, and say "good enough."
Good enough doesn't mean it's not ready. Good enough doesn't mean it's not still great. This website, right now, is "good enough," and seeing as I did it myself and am a long way from any kind of web developer, I hope you can excuse any flaws you may find and enjoy my art.
Keep making things! Don't worry if it's not perfect. We can all be good enough and love our lives, love making, love art!!! There's no judge. It's your life. Love it! Live it! Don't obsess over the details. Keep seeking, but also be OKAY with that space where things are good enough, and let them out into the world.
